Drabble - Death - Life

Jack mused about death as he lay in his familiar infirmary bed. He'd woken four hours ago to see the relieved faces of his team and Doc Frasier, barely blinking at her recitation of his injuries. One look at Danny's eyes had told him all he needed to know... he'd died again. Probably on the table... he remembered hitting the ramp when they retreated through the Gate.

He wasn't the least freaked out about dying, thought Jack as he fell asleep. Lady Death would have to wait. He and his kids had too much to do before they'd stay dead.
