They hadn't seen her, she knew that much. Then again, this part of town wasn't really her thing. If it hadn't been for the new exhibit at the museum... well, she'd have missed this.

It looked like her two best friends had finally got a clue. Cutting through the parking lot after the exhibit closed for the night, she'd been headed for the nearest Metro stop, and spotted them near the far edge of the parking lot. The glint from blonde hair being bathed in both moonlight and streetlight had caught her attention - she'd nearly had a conniption when she recognised the duo being unwittingly so lit.

They were at Renee's car, obviously preparing to leave. Ever the gentleman, Liam was holding the door open for her. Street felt her breath catch in her throat as he gently caressed Renee's bare arm, and then brush a gentle kiss against the blonde's cheek.

When Renee turned her head slightly to meet his lips with her own, Street smiled delightedly. When Renee's arms languidly wrapped round him and her chin dropped to rest peacefully on his shoulder, Street felt like doing a happy dance.

She didn't though. What she did do, was divert to take a slightly longer route to the Metro. She wouldn't disturb her friends tonight. They looked at peace with each other. She wouldn't diminish that. Those two lived lives that were sadly lacking peace. If they'd finally realised that they could find peace in each other then all she would do - as their friend - would be to go home and say a quiet prayer of thanks that they'd found the peace they needed.
